I have some information updates for you after Saturday’s eBoard meeting:

The Memorial Service for Ray Pitts will be Friday, June 11th at Our Place in Silverdale. The memorial begins at 1600, and the honors will begin at 1730. Please wear the colors and join us to support the family.

Dutch Kaisers funeral will be held at Ivy Green Cemetery in Bremerton on Friday, June 18 at 1200. A reception will follow at the Fleet Reserve #29 facility. Please wear the colors and make Dutch proud. There will be NO SOUP DOWN on Friday June 18th.

The arrangements for Paul Christofferson are still under development. As soon as they are available we will share them via eMail, the Gertrude Check and social media.

John Clear has been appointed as the Base Historian. If you have any items/information for him, please be in contact.

The nomination Committee is in need on one more volunteer. Steve Corcoran is the election Chair, and Ileene Davis is the second member. A third member is required by the bylaws. If you are willing to serve, please let me know ASAP.

It appears that the Fathoms of Fun Parade MAY be on, but it will be on Labor Day weekend (if it happens). We will keep you up to date as soon as we hear more details.

John Gardner needs a second person to go with him to TTF on the first Wednesday of the month. If you are interested, please let him know.

The Treasurer reported that we have a balance of $70,775.00

Membership at the end of May was 251

Discussions are underway to reconsider the distribution of the printed newsletter.
