Eternal Patrol – Earl Henson

Shipmates, Families, and Friends,

We were recently informed by his wife Jan of the passing of Bremerton Base Member Earl O’Neal Henson. His passing was sudden and the family is wishing for privacy during this difficult time. There are no plans for a memorial service.

Thank you all in advance for respecting the families wishes.

Shipmate Henson served from 1963- 1992. He qualified onboard the USS Caiman SS-323 in 1971. His boats were  SS-323, SS-322, SSR-573, SSBN-601, SSBN-608, as the XO of SS/AGSS-567 & AS-40, and Commanded the ASR-14. CDR Henson  joined the Holland Club January 22, 1998.Earl Henson joined Bremerton Base in January 1998.

Paul Christofferson

It is with great sadness that I report to you that Member Paul Christofferson, a World War II Veteran, went on Eternal Patrol on June 2nd. I know that you will join me in keeping Ae Cha and the rest of the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Paul joined USSVI: 1997
Boats Served on: SS-222, SS-270, SS-268, AS-13, SS-0
BIO: Qualified in submarines on the USS Raton (SS-270) in 1944 and was a MOMM3(SS) when he left the Navy.
